So today I uploaded some of my photos that I made on the 20th, when I decided to go for a little walk in my little home town.
Armed with my compact clicker, a bottle of water, and with keen eyes to see the roads and houses, that I looked at oh so many times, but never tried to see the things that I looked for today.

First to warm up my shutter finger, and get into the thinking mode, I was started with landscapes out of the town boundaries, and found myself walking in a plowed field, where I took a few pictures of the track of a tractor going uphill (or possibly down) and out of those I selected this one: [link] and on my way back I saw this next to the road: [link]

Arriving back in the town, walking on the familiar streets, I wasn't searching. I didn't know what to search for, took a few snaps of signs, trees, those didn't turn out any good really, but crossing a few streets, and those who seek shall find.
I don't want to link everything here, please see my Gallery for the photos, but what I found was the reason I love photography.
In the span of three streets, a rusty metal bell functioning as a doorbell, a door and a window although located in separate streets, but equally busted down, abandoned and forgotten by most.

Turning myself to the way home, I came across a bench occupied only by a coat itself, like the door and window, forgotten, but unlike them, not abandoned on purpose.
(for the record later that day I drove by, and the coat wasn't there so it most likely decided to go home)
Walking by a finishing construction site, I got some cold looks for pointing my compact lens at the workers, so I decided to call off that.
But thanks to that I wasn't trying to see what are they doing with drills and hammers, rather looking at the other side of the street, I captured something that I absolutely didn't ever though about seeing, not to mention having a photo of.
A life-sized Iron Man statue on a pedestal, just hanging out on a porch. It's not a particularly good photo, but come on. What are the odds for that? [link] A thousand cool points for the owner.

Of course, none of the photos are award winning or anything, nor they are meant to be. The reason I posted them, is because I hope I might inspire someone who likes photography like I do, to just grab a camera, go for a walk, and find interesting things to capture.
You don't have to go to the Grand Canyon, of the Eiffel Tower to have fun with photography, and take some good photos.

If you like photography, you probably have some sort of camera already, and the only other thing you need is a little time.

ps.: this is a long-ass entry, I really liked this walkaround photography. I'll probably do it again.
